Apple announced the release of the new iPhone 5s on Tuesday. The 64-bit processor just made the iPhone a whole lot more powerful than the previous generation and any surrounding competition.
In response to this, Samsung says its next smartphones will also include a 64-bit processor. Samsung’s mobile business chief Shin Jong-kyun told The Korea Times: “Not in the shortest time. But yes, our next smartphones will have 64-bit processing functionality.”
He said in a report: “Samsung understands that Apple intends to boost its mobile business in China, as well as Japan, meaning that we should try harder in these countries.”
